I love this event but the move North has curtailed any more visits - certainly for this year at least. Enjoy it.

A shot of mine from last year (Q2)

I will be there but on the Saturday. Shame.

Cars, bikes, planes - it is always a joy!

I'll be there all weekend as usual. Sadly many of the stalwarts of yesteryear have sadly departed.

Murray Walker - R9/DMR 50/2 Summicron

Dan Gurney - R9/DMR 280/4 APO

John Surtees - S(006) 70/2.5

If anyone goes to Goodwood Revival,

Don't forget Leica has a presence this year

"GOODWOOD REVIVAL 2024
Leica steps back in time
6 - 8 September 2024 | 07:00 - 19:00

This year, Leica is thrilled to announce our participation in the classic car festival, featuring an exciting programme of activities as we celebrate 70 years of Leica M!

Leica Gallery London will make its Goodwood Revival debut with From Austerity to Hedonism, exclusively showing during the festival. This exhibition comprises striking photographs by two icons of the lens, William Klein and Brian Duffy, and a talk with an honoured guest. Explore Leica's rich history through a dazzling display of vintage cameras and lenses presented by Leica Classic, including the first-ever M model, the Leica M3. To complete the experience, join one of our guided photo walks led by the Leica Akademie and immerse yourself in the festival's timeless atmosphere.

We look forward to your visit and sharing our passion for photography. The prints from the exhibition, as well as new and classic Leica cameras and lenses, will be available for purchase at the Leica booth.

*Please note that admission to Goodwood Revival is for ticketholders only."

Sunday is sold out,

It has been for some weeks. To be certain you need to get tickets no later than the Spring. I am a member of the GRRC (Goodwood Road Racing Club) and we get sent invite to book tickets in previous October!  This year for first time we have entry an hour before gates open but don't think there will be much happening!

I’m talking about Leica Academy walk 🙂 Sunday walk is sold out.

But I do have a ticket to Goodwood. Sorry for misunderstanding.

I too am a GRRC Member. I’m not going to the Revival this year but went to the FoS earlier this summer, as I usually do.

Someone, who shall remain nameless, informed me that Leica had a presence there. My wife and I spent about 45 valuable minutes looking for the Leica stand. Of course, it wasn’t there….

No harm done….Enjoy the Revival if you’re going.

I certainly didn't see it - but wasn't looking for it. Perhaps they got the events mixed up. Never known Leica at FoS but they were at Revival a few years ago (2015).

Did you have your Likeness taken?

Your shot taken over a ladies shoulder in wonderful light is as good a Goodwood shot as I have seen!

This was my favourite from 2015

I thought that the two Lancasters flew over that year, but it must have been a different time.

I wish I was there this weekend, and will try to make an effort next year.

The two Lancasters flew over in 2014 on the Sunday afternoon. It was overcast. I was enjoying a picnic on the Lawn and barely managed to get any pictures.
