My dealer confirmed I was first on their list… then told me they “still didn’t know about a new camera,” but when they verified my number they said “if we call you Thursday and miss you, we’ll email you an invoice to fill out so you can get your camera.” The camera that you don’t know about? I wonder if there will be a market for changing the leather. It would be the first camera I would consider doing it for. Of course, if you have both cameras, the difference is very practical, but the color just seems too much like an appliance to me. The colors are giving me a real Nintendo vibe, lol. They have an occasional tendency to using a splash of gray ….thinking back to Leica M-E, Leica S-E 006 etc, which in fairness look better in the flesh than on the internet. Main thing for me is how close the super looking lens might get to being exceptional - is this the same image quality of an SL3 + APO Summicron lens, but in a compact body?
