stuny Posted August 12, 2024 Share #1 Posted August 12, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Crazy Horse monument in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It will eventually be the full figure on horseback. it has taken 75 years to get this far. the face alone is larger than all of the Mount Rushmore faces combined. The group owning the project has refused government funding for fear that the government would make changes to the project that the group (the sculptor's family and the Lakota Sioux) fear would somehow violate tribal wishes. This is understandable considering all the government violations of treaties. Crazy Horse never allowed any photos of himself. Vlux5 Welcome, dear visitor!
