So did mine. I hit the user profile icon and they are all there. That's not the issue. The issue is when I select profile 1 for example, there used to be a 1 on the quick menu user profile icon so you knew which profile you had loaded. After the firmware update that was no longer the case on my camera.

But from a previous post, I understood that you found a fix for that...  Yes?

The fIx was to delete all the previous profiles and recreate them again form scratch. That is what worked for me. Could be a Fotus issue. I used the Fotus app with my Android to do the firmware upgrade. Maybe there is a Fotus app update in the near future for Android.

No, the fix is to load each profile and save it, overwriting what is already saved. No need to delete and recreate each profile.

What I don’t understand is what causes the difference in outcomes. Is it Fotos?

It would be interesting to see if those that experienced the change in the user profile icon behaviour did the update using Fotos. I used Fotos and had the issue.

I think it would be interesting to know whether those who updated with the card had the same problem as you.

I would also like to know whether anybody has noticed a significant improvement in performance since doing the upgrade.

I used the Fotos app and all my profiles are showing their original numbers.

One more time, the issue is not the profiles. All profiles are present with the correct numbers.

The issue is the display of the profile number on the user profile icon in the quick menu. For me, this changed from showing the number of the profile currently in use in the icon to not showing it.

Mine are all showing with their numbers in the quick menu. Forgot to add that bit.

So when you touch that icon and select a profile, the number of that profile is then displayed on the icon?

If correct, then I'm at a loss to understand why some people have been affected by this issue and others have not been affected.

I updated from the SD card, had the same issue and followed your suggested soluion—which I believe has resolved the issue.

I updated from the SD card as well. But I had no issues with the numbers nit showing up in the overview menu. So its not clear why there are differences.

It seems that one update does something and another update does something else. Its even not the case that all updates by SD card do it the same way. Or not all updates by Leica Fotos do it the same way either. The behaviour seems to be unpredictable. I conclude this from the reports above.

May it have to do if you updated from the version immediately preceeding or if you updated from an older version to 2.0.5?

I hope that Leica reads here . . .

Yes, the number on the quick 'menu profile' image matches the profile in use. Just as before I updated.

I now noticed that looking through the EVF, the screen flashes white just before finding new focus (when half pressing the exposure button with AFs). At times it's only the lower 50% of the screen which flashes white. This is not visible on the flip screen. It appears to be more common when photographing lighter settings. Anyone else noticed this?

See other threads about EVF “flashing”. Simple solution is to switch from 120MHz to 60MHz for the EVF. It doesn’t happen at 60MHz.

This is rather strange. I started a thread about the EVF flashing when set to 120Hz and that setting it to 60Hz resolved the issue. I tested again on the new firmware and I noted that the flashing had now stopped when 120Hz is selected. It's strange that you are experiencing the flashing EVF on the new firmware.
