every single 35 on the market will be soft in the corners and edges wide open

and my copy was also not sharp in the corners wide open

Thank you so much. It sounds for me like sedative😀
I just compare it with pictures I made on my previous Leica Q2 where Summilux 1.7. And all images from that camera was extremely sharp in the corners and sides. May be I don't need to compare with that) Maybe that was some programmed sharpening on Q2

On widest apperture I don't have details in the corners.
The seller said it is normal for all lenses to not have details on the widest apperture. I don't know. Is this something wrong with my M11 matrix?

What the seller said is true in a general sense, but the fact remains that this particular lens doesn't meet your personal standards.

There's no shortage of high-quality 35mm lenses for M mount. Don't waste your time with a lens that you don't trust.

Very likely not, but I have personally seen a slightly shifted digital sensor on M10. Any lens f/1.4 or faster had the right corner slightly blurry.

Fortunately or not I have all corners with symmetrically less details 😆

At F1.7 or F2 the Q still is not perfectly sharp in the corners.

I would try another 35mm Zeiss 2.8 if I were you, if that is not sharp bin the idea of that lens.

The 35mm Voigtlander APO will blow your socks off! I would guarantee your satisfaction if you buy that :)

Yes agreed, I recall the OP saying it was evenly unsharp in the corners like a few of my lenses have been. Just a 60mp sensor with thin stack exposing the resolving powers of some older lenses I think.

As I understood: no one lens on widest aperture will not have the same sharpness in corners and edges as in the center. This is physical moment. Am I right?
And according this review and pictures vignetting is so normal for this Biogon 2.8

Peter Karbe will disagree with you...

Try the Leica 35 and 50 APO, the Voigtlander 35 or 50 APO, or any of the SL APO lenses.

They are razor sharp at F2 everywhere.

If it's not that important just buy a 35 Voigtlander APO. Its is astonishing.

Can't say nothing yet about size, but have read already about Voigtlander Apo-Lanthar 35mm f/2. Amazing lens. And I have opportunity to buy new one with garantee for $1000.
