In the SL forum there were some discussions about the usefulness and quality of multishot Hi-res images. I decided to test on the S5ii. The mode can be accessed by turning the left hand dial, very practical.

I don't know, it does take 10 shots (I guess, too fast to count properly, maybe even more in ES) which should help. The stabilisation  is at any rate good enough for handheld shots with long lenses.

If motion artifact removal is turned on, the camera selects one sharp image, scales it up, and inserts part of that one-image version where motion occurred. While it is better than a motion artifact, the IQ and resolution at places with motion are lower.
