M10 body weatherproofing

Hi all,

In terms of body only does anyone know if there are any differences in weather proofing between the M10 and the SL bodies?

I know the SL is stated as ip54 but I use mine (SL2) with M lenses anyway.

I think that it depends on what your income level is as to whether you chance your M gear in the rain - especially lenses.  I'm poor & staying cautious!  😉

The SL2 probably has the best weather seals hence the ip rating, though M10 will stand in any weather too, but of course there’s a difference

The weak point will be the lens and mount on an M bayonet lens.
