Sandisk SD-Card in M10-P not removable, again, second time!

It was again not possible to remove the Sandisk SD Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Card. Sometime ago had the same problem and the camera has to be send to Leica Wetzlar to remove the card. Has someone else the same problems. I think Leica recommends to use SD-Cards from Sandisk. Has anybody experience with another SD Card manufacturer, ie. Lexar. Is this SD-Card problem a typical M10-P problem? Many thanks for explanations and/or recommondations!

Isn't it possible to import your pictures with a USB cable?  I let the card in the camera, until it dies. And when it would die, I would make a surgery with a pincer.

A battery can blow up itself, that can be difficult.

I don't think this is a common problem, but it's a purely mechanical one. The locking mechanism "grabs" the card by the small slot on the right hand side when the card is pushed in against the spring and releases it when pushed in again. Part of the mechanism can be seen by looking into the card slot.

It should be easy to see if the problem is caused by the card by comparing the slot to that of another card. Otherwise I'm afraid the problem is in the camera mechanism.

Many thanks for all messages. Tomorrow I go in the local Leica Store to find out what they think/consider to do. Possibly the M10-P must be sent to Wetzlar to check/repair/replace the SD-Card slot (maybe mechanical problems). Since the M10 is thinner than former models the SD-Card slot does not have enough clearance.

I personally used Kingston Canvas React Plus 128gb cards and have never had any problems with them however I also have a Delkin Power 128gb card and it feels slightly tighter in the slot so it may just be down to tolerances.
