SL3 vs M11: image quality/rendering differences?

I’ve looked around the forum, but can’t find any comparison of the image quality and rendering of the SL3 with that of the M11, when using M lenses.
 

I have both cameras, so could do my own, but I’m sure there are better qualified people to do this amongst the forum members.

This is an interesting question. I have no SL3 but I can compare SL2 with M11 and M lenses. Concerning the M11 I am happy with the quality but not with the color rendering (known as "magenta issue" for some and Leica look for others). In a direct comparison SL2 and M11, I prefer the SL2 look. less post processing

Having both,  I think the SL3 colors are more true to life with more pleasing skin tones. But I have done no scientific comparison ,  I am just less often irritated…😉

Do Lightroom/Capture One/other raw converters have profiles for each camera that causes them to convert raw files in a camera specific way?

Yes , LR and C1 do have specific profiles for SL3 and M11, and the results look different from different converters and again different from in camera jpg.

There are also third party profiles for LR (I have used those from cobalt for SL2-S for example)

I did not think Lightroom Classic has a specific Adobe provided profile for the SL3, at least it does not pop up when I process my SL3 images.  LR may use the profile embedded in the DNG file.
