What has me interested is the Blackmagic Camera App, which is for video. It's not compatible with my current phone, but I'll be looking at their compatibility list when I need to replace it.

I agree with what you are saying. It is just a shame Leica is not making it more user accessible. I know many other apps can do similar things. A shame it’s not cheaper, as the UI is brilliant.

I have just been sent an email by Leica pushing the app for iPhone. It is coy about the costs.

To avoid me downloading it unnecessarily, can anyone who has it say if there have been any changes either to the subscription rate or what is included in the free version?

I've downloaded it anyway. If the interface is as good as posts above say, then I will use it for free for a while as my default camera app instead of the standard iOS camera app. I use my phone as a casual snapper anyway, and rarely use the controls that are there. At least Leica Lux allows me to shoot in raw which the default app doesn't (on my iPhone 13).
