I'm finished buying lenses. I stopped buying 50's after the summicron. Same with the 35.

Nothing wrong with the lens like it's been shown. No reason to believe I am the exception to the same issue. Welcome, dear visitor! lct Posted June 8, 2024 Share #45 Â Posted June 8, 2024 I'm see nothing wrong on this flange either so no problem for you as long as you don't buy another uncoded lens. So much the better for Leica whose all new lenses are coded anyway.

I would ask for a more informed reply. In fact, I would just pick up the phone. Leica does bring out firmware updates to add new lenses for finished products. He replied to my reply. Late but sounds better. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! I didnt reply but should say that 1) When that lens is mounted my camera has 0 light leaks. 2) The coding is and looks 100% identical to my 50f2 cron. Just the colors are opposite obviously. I'll just keep it on Manual since there's really nothing wrong with it and my camera functions perfectly fine. The lens is incredible too. Mechanically is perfect and without flaws. Images coming from it are amazing.
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! jaapv Posted June 11, 2024 Share #48  Posted June 11, 2024 He does not mean that the camera has a light leak but it may be that the flange admits light to the 6-bit sensor. Some of the heavier lenses are known to do so sometimes. Try putting a scrunchy around the joint.
