jaapv Posted June 3, 2024 Share #4  Posted June 3, 2024 According to Erwin Puts the image quality @ 5.6 is equal to the Apo-Telyt. I had both and concur. I sold the Apo Telyt and kept the Tele-Elmar. BTW the Hektor 135 is the best IR lens I ever saw.
lct Posted June 3, 2024 Share #5 Â Posted June 3, 2024 Another vote for the Tele-Elmar 135/4. My copy shows no visible color fringing.
jaapv Posted June 3, 2024 Share #6  Posted June 3, 2024 And even if it did… one slider swipe. Nor have I any complaints about the OOF rendering. Nice round aperture.
tritentrue Posted June 3, 2024 Share #7 Â Posted June 3, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Tele-Elmar (11851) and Tele-Elmar-M (11861). Â I see no CA with my 11861. Â I previously owned the APO-Telyt-M and prefer the draw of the older lens. Â The 135mm Elmarit-R v. II is also a capable lens, but not as sharp at any aperture is the Tele-Elmar is at f/4.
wda Posted June 3, 2024 Share #8  Posted June 3, 2024 Tele-Elmar another vote. But you already have experience of this .ensure. I also like its predecessor the Elmar. Lovely for portraiture.
spydrxx Posted June 3, 2024 Share #9 Â Posted June 3, 2024 I'll cast a vote for the Tele-Elmar, but I ended up keeping the Elmar since I can use it on both my M and screwmount bodies, and the head, like the Tele-Elmar is removable for use on the bellows.
