I went out looking for crabs on the beach, saw none. But I did see this log which just begged to be jumped on. Elmarit 16mm f8 1/640 ISO 400. I used the orange built in filter to make the sky more dramatic.

Very nice! Are you using a tripod and nodal slide to help align the 4 frames?

Simply handheld camera with electronic shutter, no support otherwise. Stitched together by Lightroom's Panorama option. Since the distance is long, between a few to ca 40 km, an exact nodal point isn't critical. The individual images need to be sharp though, so sufficiently short shutter speed is needed. With electronic shutter and image stabilisation, 1/50 to 1/100 s is usually safe for a focal length of about 100 mm. If I use longer shutter speeds (to maintain low ISO in low light), I may take 2-3 images of the same 'section'.

Thank you. I shot plenty of interior shots in Qasr Al Watan and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, and I am delighted with the results. LPC helped a lot with the proper framing, even though it is disabled when shooting wider than 16mm.

Thanks for tip with LPC, I would never have looked at it given the results from the M10M but the function is really good and on both the SL3 and SL2S. Its a pity it doesn't work for 14mm but at least it does for 16 mm on the SVE 14-24. It's a great lens and your image of the Grand Mosque shows that.
