But now, it became gray and is not activated anymore! I like to see how I can fix that. Adobe is not very helpful!
250swb Posted March 17, 2024 Share #4 Posted March 17, 2024 (edited) I've had a problem recently that is clearly a bug. I use ColorPerfect to invert film negatives into B&W. If I open PS from Bridge ColorPerfect doesn't get loaded into the filters/plugins and the clone tool options and the Generative Ai tools work properly, so that is without ColorPerfect in the filters menu. However if I open Photoshop on it's own before Bridge I do get ColorPerfect in the filters menu but then the clone tool options and Generative Ai don't work and are 'greyed out' or more precisely not even in the options list. Whether this is a bug in the filters dialogue or the Ai tools dialogue I don't know, and while both ColorPerfect and Generative Ai work it's depending on how I open PS, they no longer work 'in the same space' as they did before in Photoshop. It may be because ColorPerfect is now quite old and it's not longer fully compatible, or is the bug coming from Bridge, I don't know? So I suggest try opening PS on it's own and then choose an image and see if you get Generative Ai, and then do the opposite and open PS from Bridge or your browser and see if it now works. P.S. Ignore all that, I just had a brainwave, but some may not call it that. Check the version of Photoshop that gets loaded. You need version 25.0 or later for Generative Ai to work. Clearly in my case Bridge is opening the newer version 25.5.1 but if I open PS on it's own I get the older version 24.7.2 !! Louis Posted March 17, 2024 Author Share #5 Posted March 17, 2024 I had to uninstall PS and reinstall it again. Now, it seems going OK. Thank you very much for all the responses. This is what is so great to be part of a community! 🙏🙏🙏
