What would count most for me is that the shutter does not lead to vibration in regards of image sharpness.

But I havent heard any concerns here regarding the SL3. I did not compare myself if there is any difference in this regard between SL2 and SL3.

The SL3 still exhibits shutter shock with some lenses, especially longer ones. It’s about half a stop better than the SL2. I have done extensive testing on this. From about 1/125th to 1/focal length, generally.

EFCS would completely solve this issue, when using the mechanical shutter.
