I just bought an Angelbird 512gb CFeB card - for 130€, its a steal ( amazon )

Card is fast enough, to dump the SL3 buffer and keeps going without hiccups.

Card is fast enough to record in 4k ( I don't do 8k, no point for me ) without problems.

While there are other more expensive options ( Lexar, Sony Tough, etc ) which offers 1gb and 1,5gb WRITE speeds ( which is what matters - read speeds are nice but don't affect the performance of the camera per se, only when reviewing and editing from the card ) , Angelbird offers up to 850mb/sec write speeds and guarantee a 800mb/sec sustained write speed.

read speeds is pretty much like the others, offering 1.4gb/sec read speed.

so far, very happy with the card and ordered two more - bear in mind again, that I use the SL3 95% of the time for photos , not video.

little correction.

the 1TB card is faster and $199 on amazon

The 1 TB card option sustains a blazing-fast sustained write speed of 1300 MB/s, capable of capturing high-definition video and images in up to 12K+ RAW.

I wish that we had that option across the pond ( Europe )

1TB Angel Card is 354€. if it was 199, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. But sure thing, they seem very good value for money - very happy with my 512gb ones.

Originally wanted to buy sandisk 512gb (228$)

See CFexpress 4.0 Type B is faster and cheaper

Does sl3 support CFexpress 4.0 Type B speed?

Which of the following brands do you recommend?

CFexpress 4.0?

你的研究速度是沒有用的。

當您完成搜尋後,哪些相機支援 4.0

No camera supports 4.0

Maximum speed is only available when transferring to a computer

yep.

most cameras have a max speed of 850Mbps not sure what the SL3 camera does, does not seem as fast.

the speed of most cards is 1200mbps over time, before they get too hot, the 3000mbps is only active a few sec before they slow down.

you will need a PC, the Mac has a limit on USB-C of 10GBps. you will need to use Thunderbold to use the 40GBps speed

You can record 8K video on an SD card for about one and a half hours on the SL3 with 256GB card.

the CFexpress card is more useful for higher bitrate videos, plus reading and write speeds are better when you download cards and deliver quickly

I have been using a few 1-2TB cards from Angelbird with great results and they are much less expensive.
