Sudden my lcd screen on m240 is not working properly on live view and it has to do with the shutter.  The shutter does not open for video either.  The camera other than that works.  The playback works for photos, the shutter opens for long exposures but does not open to clean the sensor.  I reset the camera cleaned contacts around lens and VF. Tried to reload the firmware which takes seconds instead of minutes.  I live in a remote area and won’t be able to go to a Leica store anytime soon.

You can send the camera directly to Leica.  Be prepared for a long wait. And a not inconsiderable invoice. You cannot reload firmware.
