PixelPoppa Posted February 27, 2024 Share #1 Posted February 27, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have improved the handling of my Q3 with a JJS grip. I want a hand strap for additional support but am struggling to find anything suitable. The micro clutch from Peak Design will not work in conjunction with the JJS grip because it is attached by means of its own integral baseplate. I have tried a JJS wrist support but with that it is impossible to operate the notoriously awkward thumb wheel. Any suggestions ? P.P.

PixelPoppa Posted February 27, 2024 Author Share #3 Posted February 27, 2024 Thanks T25UFO but what I’m after is not a wrist strap but a hand support that attaches by two anchor points giving wrap around support to the hand eg the Peak Design Clutch (too big for the Q3). How about the Peak Design Micro Clutch I-plate ?
Marc B-C Posted February 27, 2024 Share #5 Posted February 27, 2024 I know you have said you do not want a wrist strap but I have this: https://uk.peakdesign.com/collections/straps/products/cuff on my Q2 alongside the Leica grip. Not expensive so perhaps worth a try?

As I said in my first post, you can’t put the clutch plate onto the JJS grip, which has its own plate.

David Wien Posted February 28, 2024 Share #9 Posted February 28, 2024 If it is a JJC grip, you can easily attach a peak design cuff to the bar at the bottom on the right, and in my experience this is a very comfortable means of support and carrying.
