What is up with these? I am getting them over and over, every 2-3 logins now, for the past week.

I KNOW there are LUF cookies retained on my Mac, since my login is always retained, and I can search "prevous content" and so on.

If my Mac can remember them - why can't the LUF server?

Sorry for that… In general I can't avoid this consent thing – EU law.

But your browser should remember your input (that you accepted or rejected the cookies).

The problem might be, that your browser doesn't allow the LUF to save cookies.

Can you check this in your settings?

Two things you can try out:

  1. Log in via a another browser, quit the browser, visit the LUF again and look what happens
  2. Check your cookie settings of your browser, if it has any specific settings for the Leica Forum

These are the privacy settings I am choosing to use or allow in Apple's Safari. I "save and exit" with these settings.

I do accept cookies from this forum itself.

It shows in my collection of "cookies."

And this forum always remembers my log-in, password, and previous content /postings (for a search of "My Content" to see what new replies have been make).

I do choose to block third-party cookies, for privacy.

But I do not choose to provide advertisers with any access, space or data on my computer.
