These four guys flew together during World War II. I photographed them at the EAA Fly-in held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, every summer. The event brings in hundreds of planes of all kinds and tens of thousands of people. M6, 28mm Elmarit, Tri-X, scanned from print.

Ditto..excellent shot..I also like "Cheryl"...Brent did you print this with your Focomat?

 

I imagine this is 8.5x11?

 

I just aquired a Focomat V35...wonderful :)

Uwe--They were all pilots assigned to the same carrier. I'm sure they had more dogfights than they care to remember.

 

John--Yes, this was printed on 8x10 paper with my Focomat V35. That's the only enlarger I use on a regular basis. You're going to love yours. They are really wonderful.

If they flew off from carriers they would have been aviators - you just keep them calling pilots.

 

...and the difference is? Now, would an aviator be insulted to be called a pilot, or would a pilot be insulted to be called an aviator?
