Derbyshire Man Posted December 29, 2023 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's a shame the status screen can't be edited. I prefer the items on the Q2M status screen in that jpeg film style is one of the options rather than card format. This seems more sensible as during shooting I may want to change this rapidly and repeatedly but in general terms, card re-format will only be needed once the card has been out of the camera/files download and by definition this will be less frequent and more suitable for the user menu if people are desperate. Advertisement Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Hi Derbyshire Man, Take a look here Status screen/quick menu. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
M11 for me Posted December 29, 2023 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2023 That might come. In the meantime I put my most used menu points (that are NOT part of the quick menu) to the favourites menu. Zhrough this I have what I need.

I would not like that personally since i shoot raw almost exclusively. But did you try to dedicate a user profile to jpg images? This way you can use the status screen to choose that profile at will.
Derbyshire Man Posted December 30, 2023 Author Share #5 Posted December 30, 2023 Good idea, that’s the simple way around this. I also shoot 100% raw but change the setting on the basis of B&W vs colour chimping. 95% black and white but every now and then…
