In other cases, you need to zoom in on the screen from 400%. In fact, there is no noise on the M11M. Whether this is good or bad - everyone decides for themselves, but this is definitely not a film)

Merci encore 🙏 I did the same, I left my Q3 for an M11 Mono and it's a treat.
AceVentura1986 Posted June 29, 2024 Share #43 Posted June 29, 2024 As stated above, I’ve had an ME and M9M for years and have occasionally traveled with both. In December, I got a slightly used M10M and absolutely love it. The M10 platform is much better than the M9 platform. Well, fast forward to this week and I just picked up an M10 as well. FWIW, I think 24 mpx is sufficient for my needs. Anyway, gonna sell the two M9 bodies I have as I don’t need them anymore.
davidmknoble Posted July 1, 2024 Share #44 Posted July 1, 2024 @Tom756 as I think you’ve seen the monochrom is special and not just because it displays in black and white. There is no interpretation of color channels it is only brightness of light. There is a massive amount of play in the files regarding shadows. On the opposite side a blown highlight is gone. I shoot color for color and black and white for black and white. In my film days I only once printed color negatives on black and white paper and it was a test. I use m11 and the M11M side by side and sometimes use the m11 with my m3 and black and white film.

Of course the M10 Monochrom has 40.89, same as its color sibling M10-R. The M246 Monochrom has 24 MP. Jeff
