For a long time I thought he had a Leica. After scanning this today I can see it's not, but I have no idea what it is. I also wondered for a while if that was Norman Lear sitting on the steps. The year was 1982.

For me, this is street photography at its very best.  That combination of the two unconnected individuals unaware of each other and yet combining to create the whole.  There is a much followed guy here in the UK who dispenses street workshops and YouTube tutorials and one of his ‘come ons’ is an images of a stationary woman gazing at a mobile phone, a theme so familiar and trite,  it is valueless.  Here by contrast are shades of Meyerowitz, Levitt and others - thank you for sharing.

I love the three piece suit, topped off with running shoes! 😊

It's definitely a look. The wife of one of our former governor's always wore sneakers, even when attending formal events wearing long gowns (which hid her shoes).

Running shoes and camera...basic tourist equipment...the three piece suit, on the other hand 🙂

Thanks for sharing your "old" photos
