Cant say for sure, if it’s software related, most likely a single reset to the camera will make it go

LocalHero1953 Posted November 3, 2023 Share #4 Posted November 3, 2023 Does it show on a downloaded image? Raw or jpg? That will tell you if it is a sensor or LCD problem.

It’s just very annoying.

Chito Posted August 13, 2024 Author Share #7 Posted August 13, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just to follow up, camera was sent to NJ and the LCD was replaced under warranty.
dbi Posted April 8 Share #8 Posted April 8 @Chito thanks for the info. Which model was yours? I have a Leica TL that has a faint vertical line seen below. Contacted support and they suggested sending it to NJ as well to get a quote for cost of repair. Provided it's a 10 year camera I'm not sure if they would cover it under warranty? jaapv Posted April 8 Share #9 Posted April 8 Certainly not warranty. I would live with it instead of spending a not insignificant amount of money.
dbi Posted April 8 Share #10 Posted April 8 Thanks @jaapv - yah was wondering how much it would cost. The repair quote would be free but I would have to pay for shipping there and likely back as well.
Chito Posted May 21 Author Share #11 Posted May 21 Sorry for not responding, it's an M11. And I agree, not worth it for a decade old camera.
