Great Louis!!!

I feel I know this face thanks to your many brilliant captures.. do you like your 28-70?

He looks very much like the other person that I often photographed and posted. Like the other guy, he was also dancing with the same Cuban folks. I first took him for the one I knew, but he wasn’t him! lol

i very much hesitated about the sigma lens. Leica 18-56 was small, light and great for travel, but I was not very pleased with pictures on SL2. A friend at Leica mentioned Sigma 24-70, but I preferred 28-70 because of smaller size and more convenient with my wrist that I broke recently! When I received it, I was sorry for trading it with 18-56; it looked cheap and too plastic! But after some tests, I realized that the glass wasn’t that bad.  I must get used to it; some renderings are not bad, and some not at my taste!

Jayne, I actually remembered  having photographed them together few years ago; but I havent seen this one since. They look like twin brothers ( they may even be! ). The other one that you have seen more often is always full of gold chains, rings, and even teeth! :)

What a double act .. brothers for sure, even if not in name.  Love this one Louis, and yes, you're right it's the one with the gold teeth that I remember seeing most.   😍

In a loud music, this gentleman was teaching some moves to his Cuban friends, in street of Miami Bayfront.

SL2 + Sigma 28-70

Absolutely superb.  How much longer will you be waring your cast, and I hope you'll do physical therapy and be religious about doing your home exercises between appointments.

Thank you, Stuny. I removed my cast after almost three months, and I am now wearing a removable wrist protection. I am still very much in pain and can’t turn my now crooked hand in certain positions! The worst is not being able to exercise for so many months; now, I finally look like an old man of my age! 😂
