Just got one. Finding I have to use the exposure over/under function to get decent punch from the colors. Also am using either Retro or Vivid setting (both together is a bit harsh).

Scanning mini prints with a Canon V600.

The mini prints seem to take much longer than the stated 90 seconds to fully process - but when they finally do get there they look very good (imperfections and all) and are a big hit with everyone I share them with. The lo-fi experience has been a lot of fun…

Agree, It is also my experience that one should use the over/under exposure. In standard conditions I usually use -2/3 for color but even -1 or lower for monochrome, and depending on the subject I do overexpose as well. After 90 seconds one has a good impression how the photo will look, the deep colors and contrast take a bit more time. The instax film is a very stable product and if stored in the refrigerator one has excellent results even 6 years after expiration date. During my last very short trip I was able to make some people happy by giving them such a small photo, and I myself had a lot of fun with the Sofort 2. It's not a serious camera, but if you think carefully about the exposure and other parameters you still get nice fun images with it.

I was in Arles this year and had so much fun with the Sofort 2. Like with this guy who didn't expect I give him a photo in no time while he had to go through development, fixing, rinsing, drying. Took some nice portraits of well known photographers too, all of them pleasantly surprised. Back home, I still have the digital file I can print if I want to.
