The Q3 is my first Leica..

I recently bought a new PC - HP pavilon i7 13th gen. 16MB ram 512SSD ,, I thougt I shoud run lightroom editing Q3 DNG files but lightroom keep crush and freeze on me .. is it my PC or other problem? what do you think? The PC keeps working ok when this happeneds.

With my Z6 and X100V lightroom recognize the camera setting and can apllay those settings to the RAW file so than it is really easy to match the JPGS to the RAW? I could not see this option with the Q3 am I missing something?

I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do.

i use an older iMac with 16MB of memory and a 512MB SSD hard drive, but I store all of my images on a 2TB SSD and back up to the cloud. No issues with the computer crashing.

I would look in LR and reconfigure how it uses memory to maximize the amount of RAM it can use while processing. There is a whole section in LR that will help you configure your computer.

”Matching JPG to RAW” not sure what this means. If you mean you want a certain “look” to your images then configure a profile in LR that allows you to access the that configuration whenever you process images.

LR Classic current version seems to gobble up memory (up to 40GB) and not releasing it back to the system. The system is then starved of memory and LR freezes. Happned whenever I used "Enhance" on a large number of RAW files.

Went from 32GB RAM ro 64GB. That solved the issue.

As the title is "Q3 and Lightroom" I allow myself to add another issue with LR:

- Today we see Camera RAW v. 16.0.1

But still no support of Perspective Control.

As Adobe said that this function is a "feature request" only it might last longer to get that function in Lightroom Classic.

ACR 16.0.1 supports perspective control on Mac OS X. I assume the next LrC update will include perspective control as well.
