keeping_a_balance Posted January 30, 2024 Share #21  Posted January 30, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had the Zf for a bit. Also had the techart adapter for Z. Frankly I was not impressed with the weight and performance was subpar.  Using the Zf with the eye detect magnification worked very well with just a normal M adapter, however I found the ergonomics of the Zf not great, the placement of the magnification button rather uncomfortable. The Evf is decent. In the end shooting M glass on my Sl2-s is a far superior experience.  After selling my Zf I bought the sony a7cii - since Evf is shit I tried M glass on it once and have since given up.  For me M glass will stay primarily on my M body or on my Sl2s. Techart adapter on Sony I can't speak for, but after my Nikon experience I will not even give it a try unless someone lends it to me. Note that the techart is hefty, iirc ~350g, that plus a summilux lens puts this whole thing in the SL Apo prime weight range.  Read up on the Zf and users experience in the forum here:
