eBay weights their refund decisions very heavily towards the buyer, so you'll likely be ok in the end.  I sold a really excellent and accurately described Leitz lens for a reasonable price not too long ago and the buyer must have changed their mind about the purchase.  They got eBay to refund their payment, plus I was automatically charged for the return shipping.  I opened a dispute, etc but it was instantly denied. 

Maybe you should open a dispute right away, indicating the duplicate listings you found.  Since the camera is theoretically on the way to you you can always cancel the dispute later if actually arrives.

Good luck--it sucks to be scammed.

Update:  This was 100% a scam.  The seller boxed up roughly 3 pounds of something and purposely filled out the USPS label to ship it to a different address (the picture of the label USPS has shows a different address in the area I live in though they can't tell me what address for privacy reasons).  The tracking says it has been delivered, but obviously not to my address.  I started a claim on eBay, but now it just wants me to ship the "item" back which I don't have.  Is there a way to escalate the return request somehow to another claim?  Otherwise I'll have to go through my credit card company.  Ughhhhh.....

Call eBay or file a dispute with PayPal if you paid via PayPal

When I had to deal with a scam, I found it was resolved very quickly via the ebay chat system (you should at least be able to report that an item hasn't actually arrived, then ask them to step in when it still hasn't turned up after another 3 days, which of course this one never will).

Looking at some items marked as 'Delivered' in my Purchase History, I see I have the option 'More actions -> I didn't receive it'. If you have that option, you should be able to start the process from there.

When you use chat, it may help to have a description of what has happened ready to copy and paste into the chat window (there is some limit on the number of characters allowed, so you may have to do this in chunks).

Yeah, this has to be the same group of people doing this scam over and over.  Makes me worried about the outcome of my case.  I ended up doing a claim through my CC (Chase) as I have a very good and long-standing relationship with them.  I documented all I could, including a written statement and photos that show the same camera being listed multiple times with listing numbers and usernames annotated on the photos.

Ebay very good at supporting the buyer; I've never had an issue in getting a refund.  Hassle, yes, but always resolved in my favor at the end.  When you opened a claim with Ebay, did you tell them you never received the item?  Eventually you'll be able to escalate the claim and Ebay will see you can't send back what you never received.

Twenty years ago Ebay very decent, but now, because of the fraudulent sellers and fickle buyers, I stay away.  The last time I parted with Leica stuff, I sold it to a dealer.  The elimination of the hassle factor was worth taking less.  Buying stuff I would look for established dealers too.  All it takes is one bad transaction on eBay to wipe out the benefit of many positive transactions.

Just wanted to follow up to my thread here - sorry it's been a number of months.  I eventually received a full refund from my credit card company (Chase Bank) after thorough images and documentation on my end explaining the nature of the scam.  I have since acquired a wonderful M3 with 35, 50, 90, and 135mm lenses locally off FaceBook Marketplace!
