Splendid portrait. What would you think of a square format?

Either way it’s a superb portrait and unusually good in terms of relating to the young woman if taken in a studio.  I tried masking the right side with my hand but prefer the landscape format.

Thanks a lot Lelmer! After the new Hasselblad firmware update you can also choose the square format with the X2D. But here I have chose the landscape format with a lot of empty space to follow her look to the right side.

Ah, we've seen her before (smiling, crying).  Lovely.

Yes we did Stuart! Smiling or crying, Nancy is wonderful

Thank you very much David. It was taken outdoor in an old bard where the light is spreading out wonderful. Nany is standing in a „light tunnel“ as you can find it very often in portraits from Peter Lindbergh. I also liked the landscape format in this photo better as I have written it to Lelmer.
