Advertisement Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Hi danieldouloslee, Take a look here Leica Q3 exposure lock half pressed shutter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

Anybody else has a Q3 that does not lock exposure with half-press? Yes, me. I've tried everything to get it to lock exposure with shutter half-press: Read all the posts here, read the manual, reset the camera to factory settings, turned camera off and on, upgraded to firmware 3.0.0, took the battery in and out. It will not lock exposure with half-press. So I assigned AF-L + AE-L function to the thumbwheel button, and, oddly, when I did that, even after taking a shot, shutter button half press now does not cause the camera to focus—that function has been removed from that action. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.

In AF-C the exposure changes, as the focus also changes
