LCL999 Posted August 4, 2023 Share #1 Â Posted August 4, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have recently aquired a BOOWU-M close-up quad-pod. A normal M-body connects to the bayonet on the top of the adapter. The bottom has a hole about 28mm diam (it's cushioned and the surround can be pushed back a little) and three threaded crescents to make a threaded hole about 29mm diam. I've got several 50mm M-lenses but most don't fit. Not even my old Summicron bought 1970 which comes apart to fit an enlarger adapter. OPTRO almost fits but is slightly oversize. I have a very old collapsible 50mm 'cron and that does indeed push the surround in and the flanges will go under the threaded crescents so it sort-of works. A fairly new collapsible 50 mm should do the same but is a trifle too big. Any commets?
Advertisement Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 Hi LCL999, Take a look here How does a lens connect to a 16526 aka BOOWU-M close-up quad-pod?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
romanus53 Posted August 4, 2023 Share #2  Posted August 4, 2023 Your question has already been answered here https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/203247-boowu-m-und-schraubgewindeobjektive/ but that's German, sorry 😉 Short summary: 5 cm Elmar will work, you have to collapse the lens and fix it with the then visible bayonett-mount, other alternative lens is head of Summicron with UOORF
