Here's Sam from my neighborhood. He has a sign hanging over the front porch of his home that says, "The Reformed Church," and my wife and I always thought it was just a tax dodge because churches aren't taxed. We were wrong. He's quite serious about his "mission" to teach people algebra, calculus, computer skills and environmental sciences. Today when we crossed paths he was wearing his special 4th of July shirt.
