It was quite a long time since my wife and I had a trip along the Semois Valley. Nothing specials being planned today, the nice weather convinced us to enjoy it again 🙂

I'm puzzled. This appears to have been taken from the same vantage point as the first image, yet now there is a village there which looks to be quite old.

Although the view is very similar, the river twists are not the same. The first one shows the "tombeau du géant" while the second one is taken from Rochehaut, about 20-30 km away. It shows the old village of Frahan.

Very charming atmosphere, but definitely far away from the Semois Valley 😊

I'm sorry I barged in on your beautiful series.  I thought I was posting in the general Landscape and Travel thread (should have realized, when I wasn't prompted for a title). I'm not known to be the brightest bulb in the chandelier.
