fotografr Posted June 22, 2023 Share #1 Posted June 22, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) This looks like a junk truck, however it's actually a musical instrument. All of the items on it make sounds at different pitches and the guy who "plays" it moves all around it whacking the objects to actually make interesting music. It was in town as part of the International Make Music Day. The name he gave the truck is "Penelope Awaiting her Chamberlain, 2013." Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 Hi fotografr, Take a look here Truck As A Musical Instrument. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted June 22, 2023 Share #2 Posted June 22, 2023 Delightful, and I love the truck's name. BTW: When I saw the thread's title I wondered if the musician blew into the exhaust pipe. I was not correct.
stuny Posted June 22, 2023 Share #3 Posted June 22, 2023 BTW: If you've ever seen any of Chamberlain's art you'd think Penelope is far too recognizable as automotive metal. In a museum in Marfa, TX their gift shop was selling bumper stickers saying, "My other car is a Chamberlain."
Lelmer Posted June 23, 2023 Share #4 Posted June 23, 2023 I'd be curious to hear that 😊
