More undisciplined framing going on. The middle one was approached very late in the framing, it was more like a wide moving swing to the right with finger on the shutter. I wasn't ready for the shot but I have learned to outsmart my practical - technical thinking and to take the shot regardless. "Maybe I will get something"? (Why not it's only a bit of finger muscle causing pixels to arrange themselves for free.

I have surprised myself with this method. It's not really a method however a desperate attempt to "get the picture". There are unsuccessful images using the process however for the ones that actually work, it's better to do it!

Things that help

1. Knowing my settings (zone focussing while moving)

2. Being confident with the auto focus on the SL3S. (I usually use M lenses which are less intrusive and I'm well practiced with these lenses - Now practicing with SL lenses, specifically the Apo 21 Summicron SL and Apo Summicron SL 35

3. AFC mode. The back focus is off. That is, the shutter button triggers the AF. AFC will try focus whatever it's pointed towards.

4. Of course, sometimes there is much work adjusting the framing using the crop mode and perspective correcting in Photoshop.
