I've since been able to order and receive an extra battery from Leica's site and the grip/wireless charger from Crutchfield. Thanks for the heads up. Makes sense, and the Leica Online Store is out of stock now. I want to use the camera for an upcoming trip to Japan, and if the camera doesn't arrive by then, happy to just wait a couple of months for the stock situation to improve instead. If I want to spend more than a certain amount I have to call them and let them know so they can remove the automated restriction. As quickly as these cameras are going out of stock from the Leica store I don't think that I would be able to get a hold of one after going through that irritating process. I never even got the “in stock” notification. I just got lucky with timing. I had no idea they sold stuff on their website. Maybe this means the other dealers will get stock in soon as well. If Leica USA ships from the US, then I’m hoping the big supply came to the US for everyone. When someone gets a shipping notification let us know where it ships from.
