Bobt Posted July 6, 2023 Share #525 Posted July 6, 2023 I ordered a Q3 from Crutchfield yesterday. After placing my online order, I reached out to them to see if they would give me a rough ETA. Unfortunately they could not but did say they currently have orders for 56. They said they got in a few last week but no idea of future shipments from Leica. (I ordered last tuesday). I got a shipment confirmation with tracking number a few hrs ago. ie less than 3hrs after placing the order on leica’s website! Maybe cos I selected next day air. I contacted Leica again this week as they'd said there might be some available last month (there weren't) and definitely this month. jbripley Posted July 8, 2023 Share #535 Posted July 8, 2023 I took delivery of my Q3 today, which I ordered on the 28th of May. So it seems some orders are trickling into Sweden. I spoke with the guy at the main Stockholm store earlier in the week and they’ve gotten in very few so far, but they’d heard that there’d be bigger numbers delivered in August, compared to June / July. They had no idea when they’d get to me on the pre order list. Also ordering from a store in Gothenburg seems to have been a good choice. This will give you a time and date of release on their Website Store. Numbers of units will obviously be limited but it is a way of possibly obtaining one. Register and create an account fully, prior to.the day of release, with all of your details and set your login. Once the day arrives, just wait until the time of release and go bananas at obtaining one. Screen refresh is needed constantly as the site will not cope but once you are offered a placement to order be sure to have your purchase payment option available for a quick payment. I haven't played with it too much yet, but so far everything feels like a very nice improvement from the q2. Mine also came with 1.1.0 installed and no dust in the lens.
