Now that is amazing.  Would love to know how you did that.   The q3 is not noted for its ability to capture action or for it macro abilities, though usually acceptable when cropped, but this is really a marvelous shot for this camera.  I shot some action today with mine on a larger scale but I don't expect them to be great.  Just some fun shots at a get-together.

I appreciate your kind words. I spent 4 hours on my knees and used AFs @2.8 macro. And lots of patience. I spent lots of time trying to figure out their next move. No special tricks or tools. I will post some more images from this day soon. I will say there is almost zero shutter lag with the camera so it’s instant. Yes the image is cropped.

This is true, as I have discovered when taking pictures from moving trains, and it is unfortunately not mentioned when users complain about the blackout effect.
