My stash just showed from MidWest Photo.   Interestingly this is the Kodak Fuji 200, i.e. Kuji 200.  Wait, or is it Fojak 200?
Made in the USA.  Strange as my last batch prior (current expiration) was made in Japan.

I honestly have never shot with Kuji 200, so will be curious as to how different it is to Fuji 200.
I'm sure I'll like it just as much.

Was there a Lolipop anywhere in the packaging? If so then it might be neither Kuji nor Fojak but rather...

In all seriousness, though, I haven't seen prices like those for a decade or more. Here's hoping the UK follows suit and we get deals comparable to those over there!

Philip.

It's a weird thing.  It's only this shop, and it is a legit big shop in the MidWest.  So not some dodgy operation. It's also not a one-off because I have bought from them before at this price point.  It leads me to believe there is an awful lot of wiggle room in the pricing but almost all dealers ignore that.

MidWest sold out in a couple of hours from after they received it.

Fojak/Kuji on the left, Fuji on the right

The thing is I have current dated Fuji 200 which is made by Fuji, and my other current dated Fuji 200 which is made by Kodak.

The Fujifilm 200 branding has been used both for US-made film (presumably Kodak Gold) and for recent Japan-made film (presumably C200). The Fujifilm 400 branding has been used for US-made film (presumably Kodak Ultramax). I don't know if it has also been used for Japan-made film, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Superia turned up in this guise. It may be that Fuji now sees consumer film as a generic 'white box' product (appropriately enough, the new boxes are indeed white) that can be sourced from anywhere where there is production capacity, and the unique properties of their in-house film will no longer be part of the marketing.
