Lelmer Posted April 13, 2023 Share #2 Posted April 13, 2023 Welcome, Terin. Lovely portrait, although I am not fan of the background color
David Cantor Posted April 13, 2023 Share #3 Posted April 13, 2023 I like it and don't mind the background colour too much but I think that shooting some portraits with 3:2 sensors is an issue here. I would try cropping (dirty word sometimes) to a 5:4 ratio to reduce the sheer volume of the background, so keep the height and reduce the width. If you try, please let us know how you get on. stuny Posted April 14, 2023 Share #8 Posted April 14, 2023 Welcome to the forum. I find the B&W version to be significantly more compelling than the color version. Based on these images I look forward to seeing many more of your photos,
fotografr Posted April 14, 2023 Share #9 Posted April 14, 2023 I agree with the comments about the b&w versus color. In this case, I think the color competes too much for attention with the woman. The b&w is preferable in that regard. It's a nice portrait. 2
