The way I read it in Texas is native iso wasn’t the original question.

Sorry, M11 has only one native ISO, the base ISO.

Almost all photo cameras have only one native ISO. Dual native ISOs are typically implemented in video cameras.

Native iso and base iso are different.

you are trying to be funny, I appreciate that. But PULLing my leg doesn't change the outcome to PULL!

well there is no PULL on the M11, ISO 64 is the base iso and native iso. ISO 64 gives maximal dynamic range, which is not the case in most pulled cameras.

If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.

The world and its dog knows the base ISO is 64.

So what are they? Neither term has any real meaning. Here is the answer from a guy who is very knowledgeable:

https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/65455206

Excerpts:

'Base ISO' simply means the lowest ISO that the manufacturer has decided is within the main range of ISOs.

There is really no such thing as 'native ISO'. A sensor does not have an ISO.

I think this is just a confusion spectre from the original M10/p/d

Which as I’m sure you’ll all recall was originally touted as 100, then Auto ISO was tweaked via FW to prevent it selecting 100 (as it was actually a pull), then various folk have suggested various values for the actual base ISO of the M10, but they’re all irrelevant because the user can’t select ranges between 100-200 anyway

Then the sensor test sites suggested that the most DR was to be had at 100… but this muddied the waters because DR and exposure latitude aren’t the same thing…

Then Leica didn’t repeat that little semi-shambles again and the M10R/M0M/M11 all have user selectable base ISO values of 100/160/64 respectively
