I would imagine the RRS Q2 grip/plate will fit the Q3.  I have it on my Q2M...great product!

Steve at Ffordes did not think Q2 grips would fit due to slightly different shape of Q3.

I don't think you completed your sentence. I think you meant...

"Steve at Ffordes did not think Q2 grips would fit due to slightly different shape of Q3 which is a change demanded by the Leica Finance Director"

The image quality is really good. So sharp I might need to diffuse it a bit.
The most pleasant surprise to me is the video quality for non serious stuff. The10 bit HLG footage seems on par with my  sl2 (although with a crop).

May I ask if there's crop on 4k 60p and how much crop if so? And if there's a log profile for video

more like a Sturm im Wasserglas. But yes, quite exciting. I have one ready waiting for me to be picked up in the Leica store Zürich today. Was the anticipation of the Q2 comparable couple years ago?

Picking mine up in an hour or two. Exciting. Take my money. Had a Q-P which I sold foolishly. Decided to skip the Q2. Will be nice to be back in the fold.

It's nice to see you back Steven, you add a great deal to this forum.

The original Q is too sharp for me, I shoot it with a Zeiss softar.  Often times reducing texture or clarity in post.  This is contrary to what most like.
