Obviously anyone can get mugged, but having a visible red dot is similar to having a Daytona on your wrist and ups the chances where there are organised gangs specifically looking for luxury items to steal, either to order or simply to sell. I still have fam there and I can tell you they don’t care about the red dot the only care that it’s a camera. However the person who designed this should really have instilled some history of Mickey/Disney in iconic animations such as 'Steamboat Willie' or 'Fantasia'. Better yet reissue the Leica that was used by Walt Disney himself to make 'Leica Reels' rather than a shallow fan service. Anyway to each their own.
