geesbert Posted March 10, 2023 Share #1 Posted March 10, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Something weird is going on here, most of the time when I try to download my Images to Lightroom it only loads every other picture. It then shows a prompt about a place that cannot be found, I have to repeat the process, then the rest gets downloaded. Anyone else having this problem? Welcome, dear visitor! elmars Posted March 10, 2023 Share #2 Posted March 10, 2023 What version? In the newest some days ago are many bug fixes.
M11 for me Posted March 10, 2023 Share #3 Posted March 10, 2023 Most recent is 12.2.1. Did this work recently? Did you change settings?
geesbert Posted March 10, 2023 Author Share #4 Posted March 10, 2023 Latest Software, latest firmware, Macbook Pro M1, I only got my M11 recently, it was alway the same...
M11 for me Posted March 10, 2023 Share #5 Posted March 10, 2023 I just can tell you that I never had such a problem with my M11 and LR. That is very annoying. You are sure that these are not duplicates. Or is the file corrupt into wjich you want to import your pictures to? It seems that you have two problems: - It imports only every second DNG - Can not find a place
SrMi Posted March 11, 2023 Share #6 Posted March 11, 2023 I had this happen occasionally and rarely with various cameras, IIRC. I reinsert the SD card to import the remaining images, or copy to computer first before importing. I also make sure that the card gets formatted afterwards in the camera. It happens too rarely for me to track the problem down.
geesbert Posted March 13, 2023 Author Share #7 Posted March 13, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I tried a new, slower card and had the problem again. but only at the last 20 pistures or so of 150.

Tailwagger Posted March 15, 2023 Share #10 Posted March 15, 2023 I have experienced exactly this problem. If I restart the import, the remaining files were loaded. Never saw this issue with the M11, or any other camera, until I migrated from an Intel MBP top an M1 based one. AFAIC, this is not an M11 issue, its an LR one. I haven't seen this recently... currently running 12.1... so perhaps if you havent recently, you should update LR.
kinetic Posted March 17, 2023 Share #11 Posted March 17, 2023 (edited) THIS EXACTLY HAPPENS TO ME EVERY TIME! I don't have the same issue with other camera cards (Nikon/Sony). I had a huge photo shoot and had to restart my import multiple times, and then even had to restart my computer because it for some reason was no longer mounting the SD card when I popped it in. I've used the same SD card before with other cameras (of course formatting in between use in camera), without this issue. I also have a MacBook Pro M1, Lightroom Classic (12.2), M11 with latest firmware. Edited March 17, 2023 by kinetic
ELAN Posted March 22, 2023 Share #12 Posted March 22, 2023 (edited) On 3/10/2023 at 6:26 PM, geesbert said: Anyone else having this problem? Yes, I have the exact same problem. It started happening a couple weeks ago when I updated MacOS to 13.2, LRc to 12.2 and the M11 to 1.6.1, all updates on the same day. Since then Import skips frames and I have to import two or three times to get all the images. Very annoying. Edited March 22, 2023 by ELAN
