I picked up a Telyt 560 f5.6 lens as a bargain from KEH and while its body is a bit beat up, the lens delivers sharp images

given that this month's full moon is said to be the brightest in years, I thought I would give it a go with this venerable lens & the Viso ...this is the best moon shot I have taken

That is really impressive. I just love the crater details from the 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock position with that incidental light. A nice 3-d effect too. Can you see the Apollo 11 moon lander and the flag if you do a 100% crop (LOL). Thanks for posting!

I have read that this lens is really nothing more than a telescope and it does not do so well at the edges

I have found that with the M8 that is less of a problem & of course for photographs of the moon the edges aren't all that important anyway ...I did a BW conversion from the DNG using jfi labs TMax 100 profile in C4 beta which seemed to yield me the greatest detail and best contrast for this photograph
