Ron,

SUPER light and perspective in the first one! Crop just a very tiny bit off the right? How did you get in there? :)

Charles looks much better in this edit too, BTW. As a former ITV cameraman in Afghanistan during the civil war, I think he would like it.

Now...I have been sitting on the fence as to whether a 24 or 21 is my next slip into oblivion....

Ron, I believe you have pushed me closer to the 24. Fantastic work. Really nice stuff.

Yup these are far better than the Autotrader shots that have been dominating recently.

The tonal range does look a bit odd though on both my Mac and PC. The ice-cream van has something very strange going on with the woman leaning into the van. There's what appears to be a strong glow around her shoulder bag - it reminds me of an effect I used to get with my LS-30 when it had a dusty mirror. Also there are a couple where it's sunny, but the overall impression is too dark for this - I'm thinking of the couple sitting down watching the track, there seems to be a loss of shadow detail. This might be caused by Scala - a film I've never used.

But, thanks for sharing these

I'm getting the same effect with a G5 and Spectraview 1980 - its similar to the effect I used to get with overexposure on 1960s monochrome film such as HP3. :(

The sildes are good, i was just in a "vintage mood", forgive me (some know that i can scan Scala) plus my desktop-monitor is adjusted a little brighter than normal ;)

I went to a Van Morrison/Bob Dylan a few years ago. Suprising how many people liked one and not the other.

The strangest combination was a concert I went to in Paris in 2002. Neil Young supported by Oasis. Not many of the Oasis fans stayed for the second half :-)
