And it shouldn't happen, clearly. Need a trip to Wetzlar to be fixed, implying some time without that body. I ordered another one right after posting this, but I'll check the Leica store tomorrow and see if that's an option. Overall, great, but I have a wedding out of the country this coming weekend, so won't unfortunately work for me.
