If anyone is interested, I got featured on the Leica blog today. It's a mix of film and digital pictures taken around my home city of Glasgow -

What I've always liked about the M Monochrom mk1 is that, especially at higher ISOs, the images from that camera sit quite nicely alongside those shot on black and white film.

Best wishes all,

Colin

My daughter earned this time to zone out with her phone here. She really rallied this year with her mom to contribute to a nice Christmas morning.

I am learning my way around Capture One...these are my first files using the software. I have a lot to learn here but kind of like it so far.

Nice photos! I use Capture One myself and although I probably haven't used all the features so far I really like it. Much more so than Lightroom which I really cannot get my head around.

Thank you Mr. Fjeld. I also couldn't wrap my head around Lightroom.  I haven't had to do much touching up with files so far but that is one thing I found relatively useful and easy to do with PS.  I am being cautiously optimistic with this switch.  I have PhotoShop on my other computer so I won't be giving it up yet.

I have been shooting alot of film lately. Took the MM1 to an old derelict auto service station that has been frustrating my film efforts. Pointed the MM1 through the window, and got exactly what I was looking for right away. Lens was an LTM Zeiss Jena 50mm 1.5. I suppose MM1 is a perfect example of a problem associated with technological advancement: you hit perfection, and still have to move on to something else.........probably less so.
