I have the Voigtlander Ultron 2/28 (v1, right after the 1.9). I hear it has some focus shift, but I haven't noticed it,- so far. But then again I mostly scale focus between f8-f16, so It's not a big deal for me. I would describe it as high resolution and medium contrast. In that sense it reminds me a little of a Mandler design. Flare control is pretty good. I would describe it more as a veiling glare, so no star streaks from light sources.
